Two local realities make IAQ matter. In summer, wildfire smoke pushes everyone indoors with the windows shut - and a home that cannot filter and ventilate traps that air. In winter, modern tighter homes hold moisture and stale air, which can mean condensation, stuffiness and poor sleep. Good IAQ tackles both.

1. Filtration
A better furnace or air-handler filter (a deep-pleated media filter) captures far more dust, pollen and smoke particles than a basic one-inch filter - without choking airflow when sized correctly.

How do I protect my home's air during wildfire smoke season?+
Close the windows, run your HVAC system's fan continuously with a good media filter, and consider a whole-home air purifier and an HRV with a high-efficiency filter. We can upgrade your filtration and ventilation so smoke season is far more comfortable.
My home feels stuffy and damp in winter - what helps?+
Tight modern homes need mechanical ventilation. An HRV or ERV continuously swaps stale, humid indoor air for fresh outdoor air while recovering the heat - solving stuffiness and reducing condensation and mould risk in our damp climate.
Will a better filter hurt my furnace's airflow?+
Only if it is the wrong type. A correctly sized deep-pleated media filter captures far more than a basic filter while maintaining good airflow. We match the filter and any housing to your system so you get cleaner air without straining the blower.
Can you add IAQ equipment to my existing system?+
Usually yes - filtration, HRV/ERV, humidifiers and purifiers integrate with most ducted furnaces and air handlers. We assess your setup and install the right additions cleanly.

Yes. Free in-home estimates are provided for boiler, furnace, heat pump and water-heater replacements. Diagnostic visits for repairs carry a flat service fee that is credited toward the repair if you proceed.

Do you offer government rebates for heat pumps?
Yes. We are a registered contractor for BC Hydro, FortisBC and federal Greener Homes rebates. A high-efficiency heat pump installation can qualify for significant combined rebates depending on your home, equipment and income, and we handle the paperwork for you.
How quickly can you replace a broken hot water tank?
Standard 40 or 50-gallon gas or electric tanks are typically replaced same-day or next-day from stock. Tankless water heaters and larger-capacity units usually take 1–3 business days depending on parts availability.
