Line voltage, not low voltage - why that matters
Mysa lives in a different electrical world than Nest, ecobee or Honeywell. Forced-air thermostats switch a low-voltage (24V) signal to a furnace board. Electric baseboard heaters, by contrast, carry full line voltage - 120 or 240 volts - through the thermostat itself, switching real heating current.
That is why you cannot use a forced-air smart thermostat on baseboard heat, and why a line-voltage unit like Mysa has to be wired and rated correctly for the load.
