CANRO Heating & Cooling was founded in 1999 by George, one of the most experienced hydronic-heating technicians in the Lower Mainland. What began as a one-van boiler-repair operation has grown into a full-service residential HVAC company trusted by Metro Vancouver homeowners for more than 25 years.
We specialise in boilers and hydronic heat — the systems other companies often won’t touch — and we install, service and repair furnaces, heat pumps, water heaters, tankless units, air conditioning and gas fireplaces across the region. Our technicians are Red Seal certified and we hold a TSBC gas-fitting licence, so every job is done safely and to code.

CANRO works in people’s homes. We install, service and repair gas boilers and hydronic heating, gas furnaces, heat pumps, tank and tankless water heaters, gas fireplaces and air conditioning. Boilers are where the company started, and they are still the work customers most often call us for, including European and less common models that can be hard to get serviced.
A typical job starts with a phone call or an online request. For a repair, a technician diagnoses the problem and gives you a price before doing the work. For a replacement, we look at the home and give you a written estimate. Gas installations are permitted and inspected; see permits and inspections.
Gas and boiler work in British Columbia must be done under a Technical Safety BC licence. CANRO’s licence numbers are LGA0043870 (gas contractor) and LBP0046450 (boiler contractor).
