Rebates HandledCurrent BC programs—eligibility checked before installation

Qualifying smart thermostats can earn BC Hydro and FortisBC rebates — and CANRO handles the paperwork.

Which thermostats qualify

Eligible ENERGY STAR smart thermostats installed correctly can qualify; we confirm current program details.

We do the paperwork

As a registered contractor, we install to program requirements and submit the rebate for you.

How a professional thermostat installation works

  1. Compatibility check. We confirm your system type and wiring (C-wire, staging, O/B for heat pumps).
  2. Right thermostat. We recommend a model that matches your equipment and goals.
  3. Clean install & setup. Mounted, wired, configured and connected to Wi-Fi.
  4. Test & walkthrough. We verify heating, cooling and staging, then show you how to use it.

The Canada Greener Homes Grant and Loan are closed to new applications. The program administrator determines eligibility and funding.
How quickly can you replace a broken hot water tank?
Contact CANRO with the equipment details and whether there is active leaking or no hot water. Timing depends on assessment, equipment availability, access and the required work; confirm scheduling when booking.
Why should I choose CANRO over other HVAC companies?
CANRO has been operating in Metro Vancouver since 1999 with a 4.9-star rating from 85+ Google reviews.
